Honesty is honestly the hardest thing for me

Been listening back to English songs lately. Thanks to my mum's friend's daughter from Canada. I got to meet her when our parents and their friends for an outing in Kuala Selangor. Seafood plus breeze = awesomeness! Anyways, she likes Taylor Swift so we chatted bout those kinds of stuff. It got me reminded about her songs and kinda made me wonder if there's any cool new songs.

Cute huh? Only 13. Surprisingly friendly! Unlike me xD

Found a couple of songs that're quite meaningful. One of them being Kris Allen's The Truth.
Don't really know what this song means, but to me it's kinda like he'd rather tell himself lies that things are gonna be okay instead of facing it. Denying the existence of something critical to life, for the song it's the elephant and the avalanche. The few words in the chorus got me thinking as well. "Honesty is honestly the hardest thing for me right now" and "It's easier than telling the truth". When I think about it, things like these are undeniable. There's always a time where we lie about things cause telling the truth could result in something worse. However, I guess lying just delays the what's gonna come. Sometimes it's probably better to just take things head on right?

Another song is David Archuletta's Something Bout Love.
This songs pretty simple to figure out. It just takes a few lines from the chorus. "There's something bout love that breaks your heart, it sets you free, There's something bout love that tears you up, you still believe". After breaking up several times, arguing, being cheated, basically anything negative we get from loving someone, after we've calmed down, we still believe in love. Those stuff don't stop us. It's true though, nobody ever gives up on love entirely.

Sorry for not posting much. I have things to blog about. It's just that I don't really know how to write it out. This one is easy though. Hey, as long as it's music I'll get it done xP

Let's go clubbing!!

Hi! No, I'm not gonna talk about my World Stage experience in this post. I'll talk about after that.

CLUBBING

This activity that many love, isn't really something special to me. Clubbing to me is just like, people getting high over alcohol and lights with the tendency of going overboard with their actions. Some make it out drunk, some make it out okay but they're all risking themselves if they're driving.

Drinking is okay for me, but not if I have to drive afterwards. Getting in trouble is something I try my best NOT to do. To be honest, drinking at Ken Yang's house is anytime better than clubbing. I might have just been to a club once but to me, once is enough. Don't think I'll be going again anytime soon.

So, why did I go clubbing yesterday? Well it's cause, I won post party tickets to Opera! Yayy! But it's not that fun... I only did my best to win those tickets cause I thought the artists would be there after the event. The desperation within me to see Wonder Girls face-to-face made me try as hard as I could to win them. I wouldn't lie though, I was shit disappointed when I didn't see them there. On the other hand though, I thought to myself, the girls wouldn't be in a smoking and drinking situation. It's just not like them. At least, my impression towards them is still the same =)

It would be a bigger disappointment if I see them in a club (stupid me didn't think about it before winning them). Anyways in the end, my first impression of clubbing, money wasting (if it wasn't for the coupons), call me old but I'm not interested in stuffs like these (especially people dressing up like that and dancing), and not that I hate it but excessive alcohol there will really get people in trouble.

There is one good thing though, you get to appear smart xD
I'm only gonna post about World Stage as soon as I get the right photos from all my friends that went =)

I woke up at 10am yesterday and stayed up all the way til 530am today and woke up at 10am on the same day... SLEEPY

There has to be a post about FIFA finals. Plus Spain winning makes me wanna write one even more xD
There wasn't really much free time for the whole day so I'll just start with 1u.

I watched Eclipse with my cousins yesterday. Wasn't as hard to get a seat as I thought. I managed to book the middles seats in the 4th row from the front and if you've gone to GSC in 1u before you'll know that 4th row is actually not as uncomfortable as the other cinema halls.

Overall, Eclipse isn't that bad and it's actually really good if you compare it to the 2 previous movies. Definitely has action though I wished there'd be more and there's LESS emo talking (they still have quite a lot but LESS). I wouldn't say it's funny but there are times when Bella's dad and Jacob were sarcastic. There's this one line that's really good though. If you've not watched any of the movies or read the book you won't get it. It's when Jacob tells Edward, " I AM hotter than you" =D. But even if I'm a guy, or any guy in fact, we'll all still think Lautner pwns Pattinson. All in all it's still a movie that people should watch but I don't think anyone would wanna watch it for the second time.

So, skipping the rest, I went to have steamboat dinner at Ken Yang's house with the guys, Lum, Alex, Kah Peng, Step, Hon Fai, Jing, Kavin, Kana, Kumaran, Thinesh, Mark and Kok Thye. We ate A LOT but there were still a lot left after we're done. Kok Thye and Kah Peng had to leave early though. The rest of us started round 2 at about 12am. After cleaning up everything we went to this mamak I've never been before, Al-Safa. They have shisha and LOTS OF PEOPLE. I've tried shisha before but it isn't really my thing but some of them loved it though they were caughing a lot =/.

Okay, game review.
Netherlands VS Spain
Line up was good though Torres didn't start. He's just been sucky throughout the competition. The game was really intense from the start. 4 yellow cards at the 10th minute but some of those were just unfair referee-ing. Anyways, the game went on with Spain and Netherlands testing each other but failing to score. I'm telling you there were 2 times when Robben was left 1-on-1 with Casillas and to be honest if the attacker was Robben, it's a definite goal but Casillas, shit this guy, he saved both of those attempts! For those who don't really watch football, even the top keepers can't do a thing if it's a 1-on-1 situation with Robben. Seriously the guy who contributed the most in defending was Casillas. He even won the Golden Glove, well deserved. Attacking wise the main man was always gonna be Iniesta. When Villa came off, Iniesta had to be the one to lead. And led he did until the second half of extra time, scoring a bloody good goal. The whole place literally erupted! The crowd in Al-Safa all stood up shouting and celebrating (except for the few Netherlands fans) and all of us we're confident that this is all Spain at the time. It was definitely the best match I've ever watched. I didn't wanna miss a single second of the game. Definitely a super game for the neutrals and of course the Spain fans =)

P.S. To those Twilight Movie haters, Kristen haters, Robert haters, Bella haters, Taylor hater? or just people who think Twilight is gay and shit, if you prefer to watch some action movie then just go watch your friggin movie! There's no reason giving stupid comments. For me, I could care less what you say about a movie that you HAVEN'T watch. I watch a movie mainly for the storyline. The reason I don't watch movies like Predator or whatever else is cause it's friggin PREDICTABLE. 5 guys in a place, 3 gets killed, a couple survives and there's a ending with more enemies. How can these movies still be so famous..

Kara, the Greek word for Sweet Melody

I've mentioned it before that I'm a fan of Nicole from Kara. So after watching a DVD that I borrowed from my cousin, the rest of the members grew into me. xP

This DVD, Kara Sweet Muse Gallery is 5 hours long in total and consists of videos of them having their first showcase in Japan, a bunch of Music Videos, making of those Music Videos, certain TV programs that they appeared on and also videos of them being their plain selves. I got to see how they really are in person and their personalities. That's pretty much how I'm a Kamilia now.

Kara consists of 5 members and a former member, SungHee. She left the group to pursue her studies around 2007.
The leader of Kara is Gyuri, aka the Goddess. It's her TV concept showing her confidence in her beauty and being perfect. Out of screen she really is just like any other girl but you really can't take away the fact that she is pretty anyways. She takes care of her members not only cause she's the leader(well yea mostly cause she's the leader) but cause she's also the eldest in the group. The younger members look up to her like an elder sister and a mum at times. Just so you know, they stay in a dorm together away from their families since it's more convenient to go for schedules. Every other Kpop groups are the same.
Being the second eldest although born on the same year as Gyuri, Seungyeon aka hamster of Kara bears the responsibility of being an elder sibling to the others too. For a girl that's born in 1988, she looks like a teenager making people think that she's the youngest of the group. She's also very childish most of the time =)
If you've been reading then you'll probably know that this is Nicole. She's modest. Like when somebody compliments her, she will instantly deny it. Maybe that's not being modest but.. I guess you can call it doesn't give herself much credit. She's 3 years younger than Gyuri and Seungyeon. One special thing about her that is she absolutely loves food so she cooks for the other members most of the time. Being energetic and guyish at times has earned her the nickname Tomboy of Kara.
Hara is the same age as Nicole but came into the group later(after Sunghee left). She really is something special. Unlike most girls, Hara is unafraid of destroying her image. She acts however she likes and dresses up like an idiot for the sake of making people laugh. She's someone that you can't just judge by her looks(then again, you can't judge a lot of people with just their looks too). With her being a model before joining Kara, people will think that she's that typical wealthy person but the fact is Hara is really the total opposite of that. She's cute x)
Those who read probably know, this is the girl that my cousin got to have dinner with during her trip in Korea, Jiyoung, the youngest of the group, born in 1994. I'm not gonna write what I think about her this time. I'll tell you what my cousin says. She's really friendly and down to earth. Though she's lacking in English, she still tried to communicate with her. Being so young, so famous and so down to earth, she really is someone worth supporting.
So this is Kara. Another one of the idols that I'm supporting aside from SNSD, Beast and CN BLUE =)

B2st is the Best!

Outside of KL Live

Sometime ago I wrote a post about Beast and the songs that they sing. Well, last Saturday and Sunday I actually got to see them face to face! Yea I know, I'm a guy but even seeing people like them gets me all excited!
A small poster of them with their signatures

So, on Saturday at 10.45AM me, my bro and my younger cousin went to the place and waited. Concert wasn't til 7 but.. I the type of person that goes early for concerts.. And guess what, we weren't the earliest there. Some even reached at 7AM! Concerts 7PM! To wait like 12 hours to see them, they have my respect haha

Well, I'm not gonna talk about what I did while waiting for the gates to open so lets skip to when it's time for the concert!

Initially they started letting people in, then til about when 7 of them went in, they suddenly stopped. So of course, if you've waited that long, and are suffering from the amount of people around you, you'll be pissed. People started pushing. Thank God they were mostly girls but I'd like to see you try withstanding a push by 10 girls at the same time. Everyone was pissed, and nobody gave an explanation to why we're being held like this. There were a lot of pushing all the way til 8.30PM. Obviously, it's the organizers fault. Believe it or not the MC announced that 35 people fainted on the way inside.

The stage

When I got through the crowd, I was pissed. Like seriously mad and frustrated cause of this shit. It's tough to breathe in a crowd and there wasn't much wind as well. But once I went in, there was a totally different feeling. I got boosted by the loud songs and a whole lot of people singing to it. They were playing Beast songs as well as 4Minute songs!(Same company) Everyone was singing along and there was really a concert feel inside(well of course, it's A CONCERT =/)

Beast came out after about 10 minutes and they performed Beast is the Best(an intro song in their first album) then Bad Girl, Mystery, Special and then went back in to change outfits. They came back with Easy(Sincere Version), Shock and Oasis. You might not feel the energy in this post but with so many people doing the fanchants and singing along.. It really gets you in the mood whether or not you're a fan. Oh by the way, a fanchant is like a kind of chant you do during a certain song. It's usually done during the pauses between verses and people sing along to the catchy words in that song too. Most popular Korean songs have them. Finally, as an encore, the guys performed a remixed version of Bad Girl and Mystery. It was definitely cool.

After they're done performing, we lined up for the fansign event. So for those of you who think I was exaggerating, this is when I saw them face to face. I don't know whether it's normal or not but these guys actually look up and talk to you without you having to say anything but of course, they were only short greetings. To me usually people would just look down and get the CD signed without and conversations. They spoke in English, I could tell that they were new to the language but my mind was already set to responding to them in Korean. I caught DuJun, YeoSeob, and DongWoon by surprised =D
Signed albums! Mine's on the left =D

So after I got my signed CD, I got interviewed by some radio VJ I guess. They spoke in Mandarin, and me being... well UNABLE to speak in Mandarin, tried to keep up with her. Fortunately I still understand what she asked, so I replied in English. I guess nobody will be able to see it though since it'll probably be edited off x)

It's been some time since I last went to a concert. Though this is a showcase it was still good enough for me. I had a lot of fun. So far all of the concerts that I've been to and the concerts that I hear from people were all good, great, superb, awesome and worth it. So I can up with this,

"There are no bad concerts, only bad experiences"

I don't know if I've posted this before or not but yea... It's kinda true don't ya think?
BTW THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO 1U JUST TO SEE BEAST AGAIN LOLOLOLOLOL xP
And sorry I forgot to take photos of the guys. I only recorded them haha
PEACE x)

Sis! Nichkhun says Happy Birthday! =D

I was born on the 17th, Taylor Swift wrote a song about a guy who was born on the 17th. To me 17 is such an awesome number. Then there's 17 of June. That's right, it's now. And right now it's somebody's birthday. That's right! There's only 1 more person that I know that's also born on the 17th of the month.
We may not talk to each other a lot nowadays but that's just cause life is in our way..
Well, in YOUR way xD

So, to my sis, Regina Wong, Happy 20th Birthday! No longer a teenager. That's what everyone says. Is it really that sad? You're like 1 year more away from being 21. And everyone wants to be 21! I think.
The one person that I know has my back whenever something goes wrong. Someone I can talk to. Someone that takes me out xP

You know what sis, I just realize I have nothing much to talk about you x)
Although you're probably not gonna read this in time since it's not 18 yet. But I think I should just write one up and post it =D

So for your birthday I'm gonna do a spontaneous poem-like thing as a present!

Raise your voice and sing
Enough to let the world know
Gently blow the flames of the candles on top of the
Ice-cream cake
N finally, make
A
Wish
Open back the memories of the
Necklace that was
Given by ME

Happy Birthday sis xD
I think I did a good job =D

I'm not going on any trips until I've saved enough money to go to Korea with my uncle!

Look at the photo. Just look at it! It's Kara's Kang JiYoung with... My COUSINS!!

Yeap they're in Seoul now, my cousins, uncle and aunt. Who would've known that his friend is related to a Korean Idol.. Sigh I've been so jealous up til now.. I still feel a little sting in my heart. Of course I'm happy for them.. But I wished I could be there too.. I've told ya guys before that I'm a fan of Kara and especially Nicole.. JiYoung's no exception. When you support a group you're supposed to support all the members. Though I've never said this before I actually like all 9 members of SNSD and 5 members of Kara. I just... Like some more than the others..

Anyways, here's more about the girl on the left of this photo. Initially, Kara was a 4-member group. JiYoung only came in with Hara into Kara after SungHee left the group for study purposes. JiYoung is the youngest in the group. Being only 16 this year. Yes 16 years old in 2010 and already well known across asia. Anyone who listens to Kpop knows Kara, knowing who she is just takes a little more effort. JiYoung's known for being the cute one in the group. What? She's 16 and the youngest of course she's the cutest xP

That's about all I know about her for now. I can't wait to hear from my cousins about how she's like in person.

By the way, did I mention I'm friggin jealous?
